I spent most of yesterday and my lunch break today trying to fix my laptop. Apparently I got hit with the vista anti-spyware 2011 virus/malware and it did a number on poor Al (Alistor, what happened to "CONSTANT VIGILANCE!" huh? Y U no catch this before it screwed you over?) Not going to be on much for about a month. I wound up using all of my allotted data usage for my broadband plan and now they're charging me extra per MB that I go over. Guess that means hitting the public library until my account rolls over on 8/22.

So, after setting the system back and doing some other computer magic (not me, my dad) email and all other stuff is back in business. Still downloading the re-boot for the virus software, but no more lag time! Whee!

Computer is not letting me see any of my emails at the moment. Also is not letting me do a lot of things it previously did this afternoon concerning LJ (dropdown menus etc.) Am thinking it's a problem with my Java applet, but I don't know how to fix it.
